Screening Services

What is an OT screen?

A screen is a brief look at an area or areas that a child is struggling with to determine whether or not a full evaluation is appropriate.

What does an OT screen entail?

The screen takes approximately 20 minutes to complete in which a licensed Occupational Therapist will provide recommendations regarding your child’s development. A screen can take place at home, in school, or in the community. Please note that a screen is not a full comprehensive evaluation. If concerns are noted, recommendations may include an Occupational Therapy evaluation or referral to another specialist.
