Screening Services

What is an screen?

​

A screen is a brief look at an area or areas that a child is struggling with to determine whether or not a full evaluation is appropriate. 

What does a screen entail?

​

The screen takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete in which a licensed Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist will provide recommendations regarding your child’s development. A screen can take place at school, or in the clinic setting. Please note that a screen is not a full comprehensive evaluation. If concerns are noted, recommendations may include an Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy evaluation or referral to another specialist.
