With over 40 years of combined clinical experience and a dedication to providing the best evidence based treatment, Dominique Kiefer and Beth White opened TW2 to rave reviews in the Winter Park/Maitland community. We are considered experts in Sensory Integration and Executive Function and strive to provide the latest treatment approaches while maintaining a child's main occupation, Play.

 

Our mission is to create a child-centered approach with strong family involvement in the treatment process to achieve the child’s greatest potential in a supportive learning environment.

Dominique Blanche Kiefer, OTD, OTR/L

Dominique Blanche Kiefer, OTD, OTR/L, BCP is an occupational therapist, educator, researcher, and leader in Ayres Sensory Integration. She is board certified in pediatric occupational therapy and specializes in sensory integration assessment and intervention. She is co-owner of Therapy West, Inc. in Los Angeles, and co-founder and co-owner of Therapy West 2 in Orlando.Dr. Kiefer earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Brown University and holds both a Master’s degree and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California (USC). She is a co-author of the Structured Observations of Sensory Integration–Motor (SOSI-M) and the Clinical Observations of Proprioception (COP-R), widely regarded as gold-standard standardized clinical observation tools used internationally in sensory integration assessment.She serves as Chair of the Sensory Integration Special Interest Section for the Florida Occupational Therapy Association (FOTA) and is a Professor in the USC Sensory Integration Graduate Certificate Program. Dr. Kiefer teaches sensory integration assessment and intervention extensively throughout the United States and internationally, presenting at conferences and advanced trainings around the world.Her work includes extensive research contributions and numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, professional books, and book chapters. She was also one of the original authors and directors of the film “A. Jean Ayres: The Pioneer Behind Sensory Integration.” In recognition of her significant contributions to sensory integration theory, education, and practice, she was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by Sensory Integration Education (SIE). Dr. Kiefer has over 20 years of pediatric clinical experience and currently practices in Orlando, Florida.

Beth White, OTR/L 

Beth White, OTR/L is the Co-founder and Co-Owner of Therapy West Two, Inc., with over 24 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy. She earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from James Madison University and has worked across a variety of settings including pediatric outpatient hospitals, private clinics, home health, and private schools.

Beth is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT) and has completed advanced certification courses through the University of Southern California in Sensory Integration. She has also completed feeding certifications through the University of Southern California and SOS Feeding Therapy. She has also pursued extensive continuing education in executive functioning, sensory processing, DIR/Floortime, social and behavioral strategies, and introductory Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT).

Beth specializes in supporting children with differences in sensory processing, executive functioning, emotional regulation, social skills, and interoception. She has a particular passion for working with children with PDA profiles, autism, and anxiety, using a strengths-based, relationship-driven approach. Beth strongly values parent coaching and education, empowering families with the tools and understanding needed to support their child’s growth and regulation across environments.

Outside of her professional work, Beth is a mother of two and enjoys gardening, yoga, building Legos, reading, and creating art.
